What's the best and safest way to prevent bloating?
I am trying to get to the bottom of all of this bloating that I am experiencing. I have done endoscopies, I just had a colonoscopy a week ago. I've had a HIDA Scan, Gastric Emptying Scan, and if I remember correctly, the only thing that ever came up or that I was diagnosed with was mild gastroparesis. Anyway, I'n not trying to take any over the counter pills (like Beano), and even if I did get prescribed pills, I wouldn't wanna take that for too long either. I don't like taking medicine. Anyway, what suggestions do you have? By the way, I am a 28 year old man.

If you have gastroparesis, you'll need smaller meals. Also, fiber can be a trigger, so try to limit it. Cooked veggies are easier on the stomach than raw ones. Don't eat too much fat, either.
Surprisingly, coffee and chocolate can actually be good for people with GP! Caffeine speeds up the stomach. I eat a small piece of dark chocolate after dinner each night, to help me digest.
