for the past year my wife would get some nausea/discomfort in the middle of the night, never threw up tho. she would notice this mostly after a greasy meal. she recently had complete bloodwork (normal), ultrasound of the stomach(normal), and a gallbladder functioning test. the functioning test came back as the gallbladder working at 91%. her dr. now wants her to have an upper scope to check for ulcers. she has actually been feeling better as of late. she was on prilosec for a while and it seemed to help a little bit.

so my questions:
has anyone had something similar?
what was your experience with the scope of the stomach?

Re: gallbladder?

The only thing similar is my nausea - it was SO severe, I lost weight from not eating. To control the nausea, I put Ginger (Fresh) in a smoothie - nausea is now 99 % controlled. My daughter had to have her gallbladder removed, same problems as your wife. I have acid reflex, so the doctor says.
