Hello I am new and here is what Is happening. Couple months ago Went to ER thought I was having heart attack..nope heart was fine they said gastric..ok gave me prilosec and I took them for a month and then I started OTC Prilosec 1 a day. recently I have again had sharp pains left side of the chest, grabbed a gulp of pepto and it eased off. I have had a slight cough for few months, and this aweful taste in my mouth that won't go away. Did some research and it appears I may be a gerd person. What do you guys think? and if so who do I see? I would rather not medicate the rest of my life..what are options I am looking at..guess it depends on what they find uh? anyway thanx in advance.
oh forgot BP is fine, and I also have occasional PVC's. I have had a nuclear stress test so heart is ok.
