Anyone who suffer from LPR ( reflux ) Hello All, i am having the problem of feeling of mucus or lump in my throat that never goes away and increases just after eating i was prescribed PPI's, H2 blockers and antacids. and i have been on these medicines for about 3 months and yet no any change can anyone tell me if these medicines can really give any effect ?? has any of you suffered from my same symptom ? and what about the anti-reflux surgeries ?? has any of you tried these surgeries ? and how did it change your symptom ? |
Re: Anyone who suffer from LPR ( reflux ) You might wanna have a 24 hour ph test done first to find out whether you have a non acid reflux. According to my 24 hour ph test, it appeared that I have a non acid reflux. So the traditional acid reflux meds didn't work for me. |
Re: Anyone who suffer from LPR ( reflux ) I made the 24 hour ph probe test and it showed acid reflux or actually what they call lpr But medicines are not working so what about you I think I might have birth acid reflux and non acid reflux And have you done the surgery ?? And much thanks for your reply |

Re: Anyone who suffer from LPR ( reflux ) I've tried many different meds but none of them helped. I just had an endoscopy done last week, will discuss with the surgeon whether I am a candidate for a surgery. |
Re: Anyone who suffer from LPR ( reflux ) Yes, please do let me know how far you have reached ? and when you discuss this with your doctor please do let me know, on what basis do they say if the patient is a candidate for the surgery or not thank you |
