Why is it that docs must must must say that you either have LPR *or* GERD? Can't you have both? I have peripheral neuropathy and autonomic neuropathy without a cause, presently. I take Nexium twice a day and if I miss it,.. it's quite painful. My Bravo Pill capsule study showed very little % of reflux, but it seems that he actual Ph level was low. I've noticed that when I lie down, at night, that I have an overwhelming feeling of fluid coming up my throat, if I don't take my relux pills. How in the world can I tell if this is actual volume reflux, sinus drainage(which I also have allergies) or something else going on? I recently had a manometry that was normal and a agstric emptying study done which was also normal.
This is a bit confusing for me, but does anyone have suggestions/thoughts about all of this?
