Hi Dave, I experience the same exact bubble in the throat thing. Too much dang mucus! ugg! I assume it is is caused by acid reflux. I get sinus problems along with this but can never cough up phlegm which really sucks! I clear my throat about once a minute and annoy my family trmendously. I cry alot because it wears me out. My throat is very dry and sore and tight feeling also this phlegm happens particulary after I eat. Sometimes food comes up too!argh! Makes me not want to eat. Doc has me on omprazorale pretty much useless. I was tested for food sensitivities scoped esophagus findings were redness and irritation on my esophagus My next step is trying a food combination diet to prevent acid so my food will break down better for correct enzyme combination. Keeping bowels moving too I feel helps alot. Good enzymes for food digestin a plus with probiotics also. Cut out sugar , fefined foods, gluten, fried foods and dairy. I believe hernia w/ constipation makes my upper back hurt. Small meals necessary too. Look up diets for immflammation and keep away from high acid foods.Any ideas out there? Natural cures for me
Blessings to you Dave. We all can help each other. Nice to have peeps to talk too!
apprecited as I am a newbie:-)
God's blessing to you Dave
this is getting so frustrating now... want to see gp, he had a very quick look on my throat, said itt looked a bit inflamed, and said it was either post nasal drip, and gave me a nasal spray... he said if thatdidn't workneed consider looking at an anti gerd medication'!!!!! great!!
Hi UKDave,
You may have AR/GERD, I get it myself and it can cause many symptoms.
At this time of the year and the sort of climate we live in can also cause PND and that alone will cause Hoarsness/Dry Throat/ and a feeling of something stuck in the back of the throat. Sometimes mine can feel like a Golf-Ball. Both my husband and I constantly clear our throats, (more so at this time of the year). Combination of Central Heating and then going out in the damp/cold makes us worse.
If you have had an Endoscopy and AR/GERD was not diagnosed then it's most likely a combination of what I've mentioned and for that you could try SUDAFED, recommended to me by an ENT Specialist and it does help, where I live you can buy it OTC in the Chemist. I was told to take it regularly and as long as needed.
I wish you well,
