 Acid Reflux Disease
This is my first post and I hope someone out there can help I suffer from Gerd and have had a sore throat for almost a Year with the usual horrible taste in the mouth my problem is that when I go onto PPI's Ive tried Omeprazole, Lansoprazole and Esomeprazole as well as H2 Receptor Cimetidine after a short period of use my throat soreness gets much worse I can usually control partially the throat soreness with Paracetamol but not when on Acid suppression the acid supression appears to work as the mouth taste dissapears when on acid suppression but the sore throat is unbearable its a kind of catch 22 if I take the acid suppression Drugs I get the sore throat if I dont I get the chalky acidic taste in my mouth has anyone else had this problem.
