Re: what to drink..

Water was my mainstay. Almond or coconut milk I can handle too when my reflux flares bad.

Re: what to drink..

Thanks...I've never had that before but will try it. Is decaf coffee also an irritant?

Re: what to drink..

I have soya milk. I can also manage decaf coffee, with whitener in, but water is the best for me. I also drink weak Robinsons squash sometimes.

Re: what to drink..

Any tea with no caffiene like ginger, peppermint, chamomile, chai. There's a huge list google decaffienated teas or teas with no caffiene. Either drink them cold or hot. Chai tea mixed with ginger and vanilla with honey is really good

Also almond milk, soy milk or coconut milk

Besides milk, we can have a cup of watermelon juice. I like this drink very much, it is easy to make as well as drink. Moreover, they are nutrious

Re: what to drink..

Coconut water worked good for me. For going out to restaurants, I buy powdered coconut water so I can mix up in the water, so it's somewhat tasty other than bleachy restaurant water. I buy mine at a health food store or REI.

Re: what to drink..

I don't think you're supposed to have any tea other than chamomile. Esp. peppermint will relax your LES.

I drink a lot of water and when I want something warm I take a mug of hot water on a teaspoon of honey and it melts in. I really like it

My doctor (Jaimie Kaufman) says it's ok to have one cup of coffee each day with milk but I can't.

My primary symptom is a terrible cough when I reflux (which is about a zillion times each day. I have learned that how much I eat is as important as what i eat...

I can't wait until my husband gets back with the good UK Gaviscon. One more week to relief! Feel better I know how cruddy this makes you feel.
