| Do I have GERD?
Things started to went south 2 days ago when I felt like dying, when I lie down to sleep I feel discomfort at my abdomen and pulse going to my limps and lips. It made my limps numb and I thought I have a stroke.
After the rough night, I went to see the doctor and the doctor told me I have gas problem in my abdomen which causes acid reflux, so he gave me some 10mg Domperidone and 600mg cimetidine.
I don't know if I have heartburn before but I do feel burning sensation in the middle of my chest. I have been bloated since and the medicine are only helping a little. Especially after dinner, the discomfort for my abdomen and chest is unbearable. It usually takes 3-4 hours before it eases off and 2 hours more before I can sleep.
The doctor probably mention the full name of the problem but I only remember gas problem and acid reflux, so I search on the web and I saw the term GERD.
The question is do I have GERD?
