| Re: chest/gerd
Sounds like it might be GERD. This sounds very much like how my GERD first manifested itself. I was having pain while breathing, saw a specialist who diagnosed asthma and gave me an inhaler. Did not help. Then my chest started to hurt almost every night.
Finally figured it was GERD causing my problems -- I was inhaling some of the acid from my esophagus, which caused my pain while breathing. Although greasy foods can cause heartburn, there are also many healthy foods that can also trigger acid reflux attacks, so eating healthy is not really strong protection.
