I have morning issues, but it tends not to be really the standard re-flux. It seems to circle around gas pains and the chills more than anything. It also seems to be getting a bit of an upset stomach.
Here is the kicker, it seems to happen more at work than it does at home. on the weekends I don't have a as much a problem, I do get gas but not this feeling of the chills all the time.
I have been check by three GI's for everything from crohn's and UC to celiac and nothing has come back. They think it is a bad case of GERD but has anyone else had so much gas and chills for GERD?
Chills are not usually a part of GERD, so I wonder if your Drs checked you for pancreas inflammation with blood tests like amylase and lipase? That usually causes pain, nausea and sometimes vomiting, and may cause chills as well. Have you had any fever? I would take my temp after the chills and see if it is elevated at all. Were you checked for hepatitis or any other type infection?
I don't have a fever, my normal temp is low....about 97. I have had all types of blood test and no, i don't have anything wrong with my pancreas. I have had three C-scopes and 2 Endos in 18 months. They have tested for everything but I still get these symptoms.
