Wheat free has cured GERD for many people

I went wheat free several months ago and although I still have LPR and some heartburn, I know a lot of people who have gone wheat free and had their GERD disappear so I wanted to share to see if this might help others. I read the book "Wheat Belly" by Dr. William Davis. Many people have changed to the way of eating described in his book and had the gerd completely go away. Many after years of taking PPI's. The diet (really a lifestyle change) is to go completely off wheat, sugar and grains. If you have grains have a very small amount (1/2 C. or less per meal - like rice, etc. BUT NO WHEAT) It's basically a low carb diet. Really high fat (only good fats), moderate protein. Just wanted to share.
