Question Is 2% Salicylic acid (Phisoderm) a Salicylate?
I just read on this health site that Salicylates may decrease spironolactone effect.Does that mean my Phisoderm face wash will prevent my spironolactone that I take orally from working ?
I also read that Aspirin will decrease spironolactone effect.I thought aspirin was a Salicylate.I'm kind of confused. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif Is Ibuprofen a Salicylate ? Anybody know anything about Salicylates?

OK,I found where you can't take NSAIDs (Ibuprofen with Spironolatone but I still don't know about the Phisoderm.What do you all think?
