Angry Boils and more Boils PLEASE HELP

i got my first boil about 3 or 4 years ago it was on the back of my scalp. i figured this was because i wear a hat all the time. ever since then they just keep coming back after i pop them. i still wear a hat all the time because the boils make me lose the hair thats on top of them. it is very imbarsing to have people stare at your head when you go out.

i mostly get them on the back of my head and a few ontop. about once every 6 months i get 1 on my face. some are small and some are really big. i use antibotic soap but it doesnt help at all.

the 1s that come up where they where before come to a head and pop within 2 weeks, but the 1s that come up in new spots take longer and are more painfull

i really really need to get rid of these damed things. im 21 and have no job and im strulgin to just pay rent so i cant go see a doctor. is there any home remidies or a place i can get antibotics with out seeing a doctor.

i know wearing a hat is not hellping me at all and is prob making it worse but its really imbarsing, the skin is all red and bumpy with no hair on it. if you shaved my head it would look like the moon with all the scars i have from them.

Red face Re: Boils and more Boils PLEASE HELP

YOU NEED TO SEE YOUR DR. not your favorite web board!!! This is in your blood not surface or skin. I too was afflicted with boils so I know whaere you are coming from. yep they hurt.

First you do not "pop" a boil.. you slowly bring it to a head with heat then open with steralized needle, use antibiotics, makeing sure you have all the hard core.. which is painful.

Second are you SURE it is a boil??? My husband has had some sort of puss sores coming up on his head under his hat too. the Skin specialist gives him medicine to put on it and he had a dose pack of steroids also. he has them in sections.. not one at a time.. the Specialist even doesnt know how to keep them from coming back..

See your DR!!! dont mess with it!!

Re: Boils and more Boils PLEASE HELP

Tea tree oil helps with my boils. It heals them up quite rapidly, but joeh is right. My sister-in-law was getting "boils" like mad, and she turned out to be diabetic.
