First of all, I'd like to say that I myself have tested this and I asked two other people to try it as well. It has worked for all three of us. Another thing, this may have already been mentioned/known, because it doesn't seem like breaking news to me, lol.
So what is it?
To be more specific - a good amount of sleep. In my "testing," I've found that little sleep (6 hours or less) will make acne WORSE, while a good amount of sleep (7.5 hours and up) practically heals acne.
Now, me and my friends have tried this WHILE eating foods high in fat and sugar. And yet, our acne continued to disappear.
After a week of sleeping insufficient hours (6 hours each day), my forehead was disgusting.
So, there you go. This may be hard to pull off during a regular school/work week, but make good use of your vacation days. Get some sleep. It doesn't matter what time you goto sleep, just as long as you sleep for atleast 7 hours.
Since it worked for me and my friends, I'm hoping it will work for anyone else. Our cases of acne aren't exactly severe, so I'm not sure how sleep may effect those with really bad acne.
Re: Okay, guys. I think I've found a good cure....
Certainly, one's skin repairs, rests, and heals itself during the night, and I'm glad that getting your seven hours of sleep seems to be doing the trick for you and your friends. However, for most people with acne, more sleep will not do the trick. I get plenty of rest, always have, except during certain busy times or back in college, yet the acne has persisted. I wish it were as simple as getting my beauty sleep.
