Besides Leung's, has anyone seen any other studies of pantothenic acid?
I'm looking for some studies on b5 and acne besides the original one by Leung. I have access to many full text journals online through my school and having found anything. I don't get it. I just don't understand how something could have gone overlooked by the scientific community for this long. I'd love to do study of my own on this supplement's effects on acne and how megadosing affects the body.

The main reason more studies haven't been done is because B5 is a vitamin and drug companies can't patent a vitamin. So what's the point in them spending money to do research on it if they can't make a profit? It sucks for all of us, but business wise, I guess it makes sense for them.
Personally, I think all of the posts this board has gotten about success with B5 is enough proof for me.

Yeah...like Jon Dough said, the drug companies have no interest in funding a study - in fact the opposite, because if the benefits of B5 became common knowledge then people would stop buying accutane, which is a pretty big source of income for them.
