Lightbulb Why buy Proactiv when you can...

Why buy Proactiv Solution when you can just copy their regiment. I haven't done it exactly, but it seems as though it can be done.

Step#1: Renewing cleanser. I assume it's main ingredient is like salicylic acid, or glycolic acid, or one of many other well-known ingredients. I'm sure whatever it is, it can be found in a cleanser in a drugstore since there are SO MANY different cleansers on the market.

Step#2: Revitalizing Toner. I don't know the main ingredient, but I have seen plenty of alcohol-free toners with different ingredients before.

Step#3: Repairing Lotion. It's Benzoyl Peroxide. If you can't find that in a drugstore, your not in a drug store.

I could be wrong on this because I don't know the exact ingredients in each of Proactiv's products. But, it seems pretty basic does it not? It's the same regiment that all acne companies seem to recommend. And each company seems to have the same products for the same steps as Proactiv. For example, Neutrogena has an oil-free wash, alcohol-free toner, and a cream with benzoyl peroxide. Proactiv's regiment is also exactly like "The Acne Cure" book which uses products found in drugstores. Any opinions people?

i've seen this product call KLEAR ACTION, it comes with the 3 step system and everything, on the back of the box, the product compares itself to proactive. It has everything proactive has, only diffrience is that Klear Action is only $20.

Re: Why buy Proactiv when you can...

hey you guys, i tried pro-active, and in the 1 month they garunteed that you're skin problem would be ok, i broke out even more, i looked so bad. and oh yea just great in time for my senior year of high school -_-"

but i went to a place down here in Southern California called BELLEVOIR
and it's flawless. the only downside is that the whole thing puts a deep hole in your wallet. so if anybody is very desperate and willing to spend a hefty amount of money. please go, i STRONGLY recommend it. the whole process is like a facial. then you buy their set of facial cleanser, toner, and other goodies. and seriously, your face will be smooth by the first day you visit them. depending how much you get done. and you're face will be FLAWLESS depending on your current condition. since my face was so bad and scarred from popping all the zits pro-active gave me. i am in the process of healing my scars right now with one of their other products. if you do not have the resources to afford this stuff, sorry. but it serisouly works.!!
