Why buy Proactiv Solution when you can just copy their regiment. I haven't done it exactly, but it seems as though it can be done.
Step#1: Renewing cleanser. I assume it's main ingredient is like salicylic acid, or glycolic acid, or one of many other well-known ingredients. I'm sure whatever it is, it can be found in a cleanser in a drugstore since there are SO MANY different cleansers on the market.
Step#2: Revitalizing Toner. I don't know the main ingredient, but I have seen plenty of alcohol-free toners with different ingredients before.
Step#3: Repairing Lotion. It's Benzoyl Peroxide. If you can't find that in a drugstore, your not in a drug store.
I could be wrong on this because I don't know the exact ingredients in each of Proactiv's products. But, it seems pretty basic does it not? It's the same regiment that all acne companies seem to recommend. And each company seems to have the same products for the same steps as Proactiv. For example, Neutrogena has an oil-free wash, alcohol-free toner, and a cream with benzoyl peroxide. Proactiv's regiment is also exactly like "The Acne Cure" book which uses products found in drugstores. Any opinions people?
