I just had my first session this morning. I was so nervous, because before zapping me, the doctor told me that she'd had two grown men faint the previous week when they had the procedure done. She warned me that the laser would "bite". Anyhow, it turned out not to hurt much at all! She didn't use the maximum setting though.
She zapped my worse scar areas three times and has warned me that I'm likely to scab in these regions! I hope not but I guess I wait and see.
I'm worried about having to stay out of the sun for the next three months though. It's summer in Australia - the best time of the year! I love the outdoors and will have a lot of difficulty keeping my face's exposure to the sun at a minimum
Hopefully it will be worth it though.
How are other people going with their smoothbeam treatments?
