I just had the same thought two nights ago and tried it on one side of my face. Applied with a cotton ball. No affect so far. My thinking is that since pimples are caused by bacteria in the pores, maybe the hydrogen peroxide will kill the bacteria, just like it does when you get a cut. I'll keep you posted.
Are you sure this is a good idea?? You will end up either burning your face or bleaching your skin! Sounds too harsh. How much percentage H2O2 are you using?
Update: I am starting to think this is not such a good idea, after three days it is really drying out the skin. I can tell that the right side of my face is much dryer than the left. Too dry. Flakes of skin are peeling off. I think Neca is right, H2O2 is too strong for daily use. Back to soap and water for me.
Some creams contain hydrogen peroxide: it's perfectly safe. I use the Karin Herzog range - it is strong - it brings out all the impurities to the surface. The percentage of hydrogen peroxide in my cream is 3% - it's great if u feel a spot forming - dab it on and the spot won't appear.
me too euro...I've never found anyone one else who uses karin herzog!! i use the 2% and I love it so much, I'll never change. I notice that the vita-a-kombi really helps heal breakouts and just keep my skin balanced and healthy...I'm happy to hear someone else like this line as well...How do you use the Vita 3?? spot treatment only? I have never purchased 3 before! I have to say that KH is the only moisturizer I have found that works for my thick and oily skin.
