try this i use this all the time.take a bowl of warm water and add some salt to it and mix it around with a spoon.take a wash cloth and dip it in the salt water and hold it to the pimple 2 times a day it will dry it up and works better than other things.trust me ive had acne for a long time.darn zits!

You're better off buying a benzoyl peroxide cream/acne wash OTC and going from there. Home remedies (with the exception of asprin) tend to clog pores, over-dry, and exasperate the situation. Acne washes/masks are cheap enough anyway...

I used to crush a few white asprin (not coated ones like Advil) and mix with water until it was a paste. Then I'd spread it over problematic areas.

This works alright, i guess. Don't expect a miracle, but with acne, anything you can do that helps is worth trying.

Salt water does seem to help. I use sea salts.

aspirin probably works because it is an anti-inflammatory.
