Post How to get rid of the large cysts...in your derm's office.

Hi everyone!
I just spoke to my neighbor yesterday and she says, that anytime she gets a large cyst, she drives to her derm and he injects the area with some kind of antibiotic and it disappears. She is fifty years old, but has the most beautiful skin in the world.

I have done this many times!! Too many to count. It works really well. It basically dissolves the pus/infection. I was told by my derm that the more you do it in a certain area it could lead to more and more pimples. So she said to only do it if it out of control huge, or you have an important event coming up...Good Luck

I had a series of cortisone shots at one time and they really do get rid of the acne, but my derm also told me that its a quick fix and not to be done regularly, but if you have a bad breakout its a good option to tackle it in a very fast way and most likely the breakout wont return.

About topical cortison. Not a good idea, it does work to reduce swelling and redness overnight but you run the danger of becoming hooked on using it precisely cos it works so well and cortisone will permanently damage your skin if used for a period longer than 30 days; the side effects are more acne, stretch marks, thinning of skin.... these are just 3 i can remember right now and they are permanent.
