Question Cetaphil Cleanser????

Hello everyone! My doc is a strict believer in Dial Gold soap and NO moisturizer. However i have very dry skin, and this just isn't working. he said i would adjust and it has been a month, and i still have dry flaky skin. would it be better to give up the soap and switch to something like Cetaphil Cleanser. Or keep using the dial, and add a moisturizer isntead? (i like Cetaphil Moisturizer). I would ask him, but like i said hes strict with this regimen!! als, i use dial on my body, where i get smal breakouts on my chest, and back; but its so drying that it makes my skin itch. puttig on lotion after would just give me more breakouts. anyone know of a good body cleanser? thanks a lot ;o)

I dunno Peanutz....Ive heard this Dial thing b4 here and I just don't get it. Personally I use the Cetaphil for oily skin and like it. I don't think it would hurt to switch. I think adding a moisturizer or adding anything for that matter on your face increases your chances for a break out. However if you like the Cetaphil moisturizer, just use it sparingly. But if your doc is really stressing the no moisturizer thing, then switch the cleanser...I don't think it will really make too much difference. Also the Dial is in a bar form which I heard is not the best alternative.
