Vitamin B5 / My main question..

I have really oily skin and cystic acne. I want to know how much is the dosage of b5 that should be taken. Also i hear about dryness of skin and hair and also hair loss. I DONOT want to be losing my hair..lol

So how do you people take this vitamin and at the same time make sure ur keeping ur hair? Would you condition your hair a lot? please help me im so frustrated with this crap and i bet reducing my oil would help me out tremendously.

Re: Vitamin B5 / My main question..

from what i've read:

just like any other acne medications/acne "miracles"

everyone's different.
some people take 2 grams a day and it works in a week.
other people take 20 grams a day, and it starts working after 2 months
and other people it doesn't work.
and everywhere inbetween.

from what people say on this board you should try 8-10 grams a day.

Re: Vitamin B5 / My main question..

Hey, Im thinking of taking it as well. My acne isn't sooo bad but I hope that this will clear it up. My face gets very oily very fast. Ugghhh I hate it. Lets hope it works. Im gonna start with around 8g a day and see what happens. Let me know how it went. I will research the side effects. I think i heard the hair loss only occurs when u take in excessive amounts but im not sure. Let me know if u find out anything new. I'll check up with you soon. Good Luck! Lets hope it works for us both.
