Just wanted to pass along my experience with the product Acneva....I did the 3 month course and had great results!! This stuff definately reduced the oil production in my skin and cleared the zits... my brother also tried it and had the same results as me. I would definately recommend this giving this a try.

Hey, I've neva heard of Acneva.. do you get it from the chemist or through a dermatologist? Is it tablets or lotion? Is it expensive? I'm from Australia, so I don't know if it'd be available here...

It's an oral pill...I bought it online at [removed] You don't need a prescription as it contains a herbal ingredient called guggul which slows down oil production and has no side effects.....I found it to be reasonably priced..about $100 for the 3 months which wasn't a factor cuz after so many years of putting up with this problem I was willing to give it a try........

Oh...I should also mention another great product is Alloettes enzyme peel...it works AMAZING at removing the dry dead skin that accumulates from using topicals....you rub this stuff on and all the skin just comes off with no iritation...its awsome!!!

This product contains fat fighters that will decrease your Insulin Resistance which will decrease your hormone production, etc
This product also contains herbal DHT inhibitors, which of course means less hormones, oil, etc.
The price doesn't seem so bad ($100 includes shipping), the dosages seem accurate (if equally distrubted). The success rate is 80%, but some people may breakout due to allergic reaction or because they don't need to take certain herbs (chaste tree, increases progesterone). Although, it's really based on sound advice and research, plus I've heard of others that have had success with it.

My acne is moderate I would say....always got a few pimples on the go for sure and before I took this product I could extract whiteheads/blackheads from my face every night!!! It took only a day for the same pore to refill with crap...I had oily skin, definately. I would say about six weeks on the Acneva until I saw any results and then from there my skin just seemed to clear up...the oilyness is gone as are all the stuffed pores...its nice not looking in the mirror and seeing all that white crap just sitting there!

I had some stomach discomfort in the first week and I almost quit taking it but I decided to perservere and it went away completely...my brother took it too and he had no stomach issues.
There is another product called "Guggulbolic Extreme" which contains 30mg of the active E and Z guggulsterones(more than Acneva). I am thinking of trying this product out. Anyone have any experiences?
i havent tried this product but i have looked into guggul before.
i have read nothing but good things on it really. there are many websites that i have stumbled across that have listed guggul as an herb to treat acne, some say as effectively as orthotricyclen. i guess there is a big difference between natural guggul (which would be brown) and processed guggul so make sure you look into that. i have also heard guggul is a fat burner, so if anyone here is looking to lose weight (which i doubt for a few reasons) this product would be pretty ideal. only reason i havent tried it yet is because i am trying a whole lot of new things right now (and im skinny so i didnt like that it was a fat burner)
