| endocrinologist vs dermatologist
Hello all
I'm currently taking minomycin (have been for years). Although better, my acne is still active - but if i stop the mino within 3 days the acne and pain are much worse.
Recently because of an immune problem (hypogammaglobulinaemia) i have been seeing an immunologist, who has asked me to stop minomycin and go and see an endocrinologist for alternative treatment. About 15 yrs ago i saw an endocrinologist and was treated with Diane 35 and Androcur - as Diane 35 alone was no help.
but my GP states that he would not send me to an endocrinologist but a dermatologist (which makes sense i suppose) but the dermatologist ater 2 courses of Roaccutane and numerous other things i don't remember - refered me to an endo.
Any similar experiences?
thanks
