For all the people out there taking spiro, how long do you plan being on it. I have been on it over a year and I absolutely love it but was wondering how long I can stay on it. Please give me feedback on how long you have been on it and what your doc says about long term use. It worries me that it could damage my body but I love the results. Thanks
I've been on it for about three months and love the results, too. I'm taking 50mg / day. I don't know how long I'm supposed to be on it. I guess until my doctor says so. I'm not aware of any negative long-term side-effects for women, but I imagine that one must always be careful.

Are you all ladies and are you also on birth control pills? Any side effects? I read a post somewhere where someone broke out on spiro and that scared me. Still contemplating this for my 16 yo dd. We have a GP appointment early in Feb.
