iut all depends on your metabolism, really, i dont think it would take years with any normal person, unless theyve picked at it, and fiddled with it excessively, even then it should only be a week or so, but i still have very mild scarring from were i picked at it, for about half a year afterwards, but it fades..and they can easily be covered up.

right now I am using tazorac which is supposed to fade them and use Cover Girl Make up to cover them.
