Facial Steamers

i have a facial steamer, and was wondering what effect it would have on my acne?, negative, positive?, etc, i want to know everything about how they work.

I use mine about once a month - it helps open the pores so if I need to extract a "zit" or clogged pore it helps. It also lets lotion, medicine, or a mask penetrate deeper.

yeah i just used a 3-minute mask(just basicly a deep cleansing mask) whilst using the steamer, its definetly helped my skin, kinda pointless though as i have no spots, just scarring..which i hate sooo much :/.

What exactly do you mean by scarring, like the little dips or just spots?? I have pink spots that are smooth and fade with peels I get once a month. Hey, at least you're not breaking out, that's half the battle!

i have mild icepick scarring really small scars they are, and some red patches which dont seem to want to go anytime soon, i use clearasill cover up to cover most of them, and also a natural ingredient cover up stick

hmm aslong as steam is reaching your face, i guess it would work, i actually use a towel and put it over the back of my head so no steam can escape
