Vitamin E Moisturisers

My skin is flaring up quite a lot recently and im thinking it may be due to a moisturising cream i bought in the body shop. I have spot prone dry skin (made dry from Dianette)

I have some scarring from past spots so i bought a Vitamin E moisturiser in The Body Shop this is my second tub, and i think my skin started breaking out after i had been using it a while. It says on the front it is for all skin types, but it feels kinda greasy. It does not indicate whether it is oil free or not.

It is a good base for make up but i think it may be this that is the root of all my problems. My sister advised me to stop using it and try out Oil of Olay Hydrogel moisturiser as it is oil free.

I am so sick of trial and error, i have wasted so much money on some products and make up.

Re: Vitamin E Moisturisers

I don't plan on trying it until I'm acne-free, but I'm going to use a Vitamin C Ester cream to help reduce my scars. I've never heard of Vitamin E helping in that respect. If I were you I'd just stop using it.
