I went on Diane when I was 17 and was on it for about 4 years. It did actually take about 3 months for me to start to see an improvement and about 6-9 months for my skin to be "clear". I have been off Diane for about three months now (for non acne related reasons) but have decided that I will go back on as my skin is starting to go back to breaking out in the chin area again. So anyway don't give up hope
Although Diane did help alot with the acne in my "hormonal" areas, chin and lower sides of face, I soon after began to get acne on my cheeks which in my case was not helped by the Diane but I have managed to conquer it with over the counter topicals and supplements...I have written about these in another post.
