I have several friends that took it and never had any acne afterwards. So I would say yes.

...and i know a few friends who have taken it (including myself), and there acne had returned but not as severe as it was before.

I dont think its that high. 25% of people who take it have their acne return in the next two years.

I was on Accutane twice & I was clear for about 2 months in between. Now it's back, not as bad, but still resistant

Mine went away but comes back now only with my cycle (with the exception of one or two "permanent" ones--red or purple bumps that flare up occasionally).

I had 2 lots of accutane when i was 15/16. I was completely clear for about 4 months for the 1st time since I was 11 when I started getting acne. Then it came back again! Not as bad, but bad enough I'm 19 now and still battling!
