A good over the counter acne medicine

I don't really have an acne problem. However I notice that when I get stressed my face becomes rough and acne comes out. Is there a good over the counter acne medicine, that would take the small bumps(acne away)?

Proactiv is not an OTC acne medication...you have to order it online or from the infomercial. It also costs about 40 dollars for a 2 month supply. Although it does work great on small acne breakouts, there is probably a cheaper route you could use!

Since your skin doesn't sound too bad, I bet a normal OTC product would work well for you! I would recommend something with Salicyic Acid in it. I have heard that the Loreal Pure Zone products work well. I also used to use Clean and Clear in my early teens (before my acne turned hormonal and cystic). Just look on the labels of OTC products to see the active ingredient(s) before you buy them.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
