Im looking for a good moisturizer...preferably Oil Free and non comedogenic. I do not want a real oily moisturizer....just something that moisturizes but does not leave you all greasy and cause you to break out more. Thanks!
i've been using a really good moisturiser for about 5 years now, i have really greasy skin but it also gets dry too. the one i swear by is kiehls sodium pca oil free moisturiser. it has humectant qualities too (attracts moisture to the skin) and is oil free so doesn't feel at all greasy, it just soaks in nicely. it also doesn't clog pores. it comes in a big pot, you only need a bit each time you use it. the pot i have now isn't even half empty and i've had it on the go for about 9 mths!! i'm a major product junky, always trying new products and i've always comes back to this one
hey! kiehls have a website i think you can buy it from! i'm actually from england so not sure what stores you could buy it from in the USA! i was in new york the other week and i saw it in a store there but i honestly can't remember what it was called, sorry! do a search on the internet, i'm sure you'll find it!
I've never tried it personally, but quite a few people on these boards have reported that the Cetaphil moisturizer tends to leave the skin rather greasy. I personally use Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin - my derm recommended it to me and it works great.
I hate the Cetaphil moisturizer, for some reason it doesn't soak into my skin...it just sits on top feeling greasy. Everyone's skin is different though, you may have to do some trial and error testing. The moisturizer I always go back to is Olay Total Effects w/SPF 15. It soaks into my skin so well and I can really feel the difference if I'm dry. The only draw back is that it's not oil free or non-comedogenic (I don't think)...but having said that, I really don't think it causes me breakouts, and one of the "effects" is that it minimizes pores so I can't see how it could be comedogenic?
