other products like proactiv??

I'm getting low on my proactiv, but don't have the money to continue using it, and truthfully I don't think its worth all the money. I'm looking for something I can find in Wal-Mart or some other drug store (I am in Canada) that is like proactiv. Something with the same or similar ingrediants in it.

I have a routine going that works quite nicely for me; mornings I wash with Auromere soap then moisturize with vichy normaderm and clean and clear dual action moisturier. At night I use the proactiv system.
I don't know if it is the soap or proactive or both, but my skin is finally clear and I'd like to keep it that way.

Re: other products like proactiv??

If your skin is clear I would highly recommend continuing your routine. I know Target carries a product called Klear Action and also another called Acne Free........You can read about them online but they are replicas of Proactiv for about half the price.

What is the Vichy Normaderm? Im just curious...
You like the clean and clear dual moisture? Does it moisturize well? Sticky or greasy? Is there any salicyclic acid or benz peroxide in it? Are you using the Auromere Sandalwood Tumeric Soap?

Re: other products like proactiv??

I've used both Klear Action and Acne Free. In the end, neither of them completely worked for me, but whereas the Klear Action did nothing for me, the Acne Fee did work (and absolutely wonderfully) for a little over a month. If Proactiv works for you, I'd jump right on the Acne Free. I got it at Wal-Mart for twenty bucks. Good luck!!!

Vichy Normaderm is a moisturizer I guess that is supposed to help improve the look of your skin. Minimize pores, even out the complexion. Personally I haven't noticed much of a change but I continue using it just because I bought it, it was expensive and i dont want it to go to waste.
Clean and Clear works quite well, but it is a bit greasy, so I just use a little. I believe there is salicycic acid in it.
Yes, it is the auromere sandalwood tumeric soap that i am using, it is a bit drying though.
