Antibiotics? Which one???????
Ok I have septra DS, minocycline, and doxycycline............I have taken them all the in past with what I thought was no improvement. Should I try them again and just throw them?? I also have clindamycin lotion....didnt think it helped before but could try again.....any thoughts?

shannamarie, how old are you? do you still see a derm? how bad is your acne? when was the last time you took any of these medicines?

My son was given Minocycline 100 mg to take twice a day, a topical cream called Tazorac, told to use Cetaphil soap. He had been using Proactive for two months showing no improvement. Now about 1 1/2 weeks later, his bumps have gone away but the redness is still on his forehead.
