hey, i'm getting my makeup done tomorrow for a special event. i don't have bad acne, but really dry skin right now. will my dry skin interfere the makeup application? will the makeup artist still be able to do my makeup? please reply soon! thanks
Well i think a makeup artist will be able to apply your make up to minimize the appearance of your dry skin so i think you should be fine. I've read stuff in magazines like self-help makeup application tips to hide dry skin, so i'm sure the makeup artist will have some tricks! Tonight i would just wash your face with a mild soap and apply a good moisturizer such as cetaphil!
the only thing is that i did an at home peel nad i think that irritated my skin. also i used AHA right after so my skin is sensitive. will creamy foundations be enough for my scaly, icky skin?
why is thta when i have great clear skin, it always has to be DRY???
drink tons of water..apply a very emolliant moisturizer before bed and another moisturizer in the am....stay away from harsh drying soaps cleaners etc...chose foundations for dry skin..maybe get a humidifer for your romm at nite to add mositure that way as well...the makeup artist will do her best to hide your dryness...stay away from powder which will look flakey on u..
thanks! i got this stuff called aquafor which is great if you have severe dry skin. right now my skin is totally moisturized but still kinda flakey, but i've had that before and a ma can totally get rid of it. i think? anyway, thanks for your help, i'm drinking like a gallon of water as we speak
