Avoiding Carbs is one of the only acne free options i haven't tried and i would like to consider it.
My problem is i love pasta, rice, potatoes and wholemeal bread and i have always considered these to be healthy foods, If i have to give them up what can i compensate with?
Any ideas would be well apreciated also i am on a low budget
i have been using low carb wraps-I get them at Sams club-- I dont want bread anymore these are sooo good. The low carb bread is a little like rubber but is good toasted. There is substitutes for the pasta but too expensive. If its any consolation after you are into the low carb for about 4 days you dont crave pasta rice and potatoes anymore. Also the Atkins bars are good. I cant eat a lot of them at a time because of gas/diarrhea because they use sorbitol as the sugar substitute. Its true that it helps clear up acne!
Try brown rice, or a grain called quinoa. Instead of potatoes, use cauliflower. You can make most potato dishes with cauliflower. You can also buy wheat free or whole wheat pasta if you want to do that.
