Cool Accutane and Tattoos
I just wanted to know if taking accutane can screw up my existing tattoos?
Any one come out of a course with their tattoos still in tact?

I'm pretty positive accutane has no effect at all on existing tattoos. I'm half way done my course and there's no changes in mine.
You just can't get any new ones while on it because the drug messes with your skin's healing. Also if you wanted to have one removed by laser for any reason, you have to wait at least six months after you're done for the same reasons.

Thank you. I just thought of that and I kinda panicked. I like my tattoos and don't want to loose them. So that's good news for me.

I had no problems with mine either. What problems did you hear accutane could cause to tattoos?

I didn't hear of any problems. I just thought that since it is supposed to dry out all your skin tremendously, it might come down to the ink level. But apparently, it doesn't.
