does minocycline make you break out before it helps?
I just started it 2 days ago for my chest acne and my face was clear, now it is breaking out GRRR.

it takes a few wks to see improvement be patient...are u using any topicals...?

hahah please i used it for 5 months and it helped not a single bit. topicals bah there done waste of time. all treatments are a waste of time except accutane. but i have what maybe 1 pimple a week oh hear you go patient this medication will prevent 1 pimple from coming a week. oh ok thank you doctor...5 months later...ruined life. here i am. done with medications and i suggest all of you be too. dont be tricked by false promises of improvments.

well, for me it worked immediately. I took it for a year.
For six months I stayed completely clear, and the last six months only had very minor breakouts

I've been taking it for a month now and it's done wonders for my skin. I haven't had any cysts or pustiles like I used to anymore. Now, I'm contemplating of going off it because you can't stay on antibiotics for long but I don't know what to treat my skin with so my acne won't come back.
