reasons for red marks

what are the reasons in 19 years old and now i get these red marks i want to know the cause of it so i can change my lifestyle in order to prevent/help them.
i take an anti-depressant now thats the only thing i changed(high level of toxicty means slow level of healing???). any known reasons why this is happening?

Re: reasons for red marks

i hate doctors in light of what someone said on this message board they enlightented me and im going to see an all natural doctor. i hate doctors they are the worst people alive and should be paid minimum wage for the ****** advice and ignorance of them all. these are red marks left over by acne that do not fade ever and more acne comes more red marks looks dumber by the day every new pimple dumber and dumber and dumber im going insane i bet.
ive used so many harsh chemicals on my face and thsi is it no more stupid medications that dont even work. its time to start over with a healthy lifestly all natural baby.

does anyone here think that my skin just needs time to heal from all theses benzyl peroxides, retin-a's etc.
i mean like honestly there msut be some of you who have used them gotten the red marks then quit. does your skin get better at healing after o say a femonths coming off of them cause if it gets worse then this then jesus ive had it my life is over.

Re: reasons for red marks

Dude, we're here. Stuff the world, what does it matter what they think? We're in ur boat, and we're all flipping rowing! (wow, weird sentence..but u get the picture!)

They get me down so bad too, id rather have a white pimple instead of these red marks! They look awful in the mirror, but seriously, LOADSA people have them! Im not shitting you, we concentrate on them so much they look chronic and stand out a mile, but most people seriously don't notice them. Not many people skin is perfect!

I'd say give ur skin time to heal, these peroxides etc really are nasty for your skin in long doses, which is what they require. Our skin does its job really pretty darn well, it just gets overwhelmed sometimes with hormone imbalance and sometimes a nasty diet. Good luck with the natural stuff, really can't hurt!

Re: reasons for red marks

If the spots are from where you had a pimple then it's post-inflammatory hyperpigmation and can take up to six months to go away, but it does go away. If you do a serch on it you may be able to find suggestions to speed up the healing. I don't know what anti-depressant you're taking but I was taking zoloft for a while and I noticed it took a LOT longer for wounds to heal when I was on it. That could be contributing to it too.
