Exclamation Facial cleaner

I was looking for advise on a good facial cleanser... I normally use St. Ives (the normal yellow one, unsented) but then Neutrogena came out with the skin solutions cleanser so i switched to that because i really like neutrogena, but that was doing nothing more for my face than the st. ives and it cost about 4 times as much, so i went back to the st. ives... but my acne on my face is just getting worse, it hasn't been this bad since about 2 years ago.
I am on the pill, which i just switched brands about 2 months ago, so I know that has had an effect (unfortunately for the worst in this case).
I am also using perscription benzol peroxide 2.5% and clindamycin phosphate lotion, so any cleanser that I use can't be medicated, since they all say "not for use with other topical medications" or something like that.

So... if anyone has advise on a good cleanser that I could switch to that would be awesome. Generally clean and clear brands don't work well for me and i like neutrogena but right now im up for anything that might help even a little bit.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Facial cleaner

I started using Aubrey organics after reading someone's post on here. It seems to be doing really well for my complexion. I haven't had any new blemishes come up and my skin feels fantastic.

Red face Re: Facial cleaner

I was just reading the tell your story post, and realized that i had never thought about what some people were saying. I need to mosturize every day because my face gets so dry and white and flaky... right now i am using neutrogena oil free and alcohol free moisturizer for sensitive skin, it says "ultra gentle, non-comedogenic" but it does make my face oily... is there a better moisturizer that i could be using?? (this one cost about $9-11 so i figured it would be good )
I take "one a day womans" vitamins... could that also be causing problems?
Has anyone else had more luck going off medications like benzol peroxide than actually using it? I would like to stop using it but im afraid that it would only make it worse. I was hoping w a good cleanser and being on the pill would be enough, but like i said recently my acne is getting worse not better so im afraid to stop using what im using
Thanks for any help!

Re: Facial cleaner

Try a mild soap with dead sea salt.

Re: Facial cleaner

is it better to use a bar or liquid soap? Do you know any brands that have soap with dead sea salt?
