Re: Red nose

I am also in canada. Not on accutane but just the cold wind alone makes all my red marks and pimples alot redder than normal.

Re: Red nose

i might be going to cuba for a few days next month...hopefully that will help?

on another note: is it possible to tan while on accutane? or does the sun just rip apart sensitive skin?

Re: Red nose

How high of a dose is your accutane? Your nose being red ALL the time could be rosacea.

As far as anything you can try read into Avene Diroseal(it's OTC). It has an ingredient called retinaldehyde that reduces redness and it is not irritating. Color photos of rosacea patients treated with 0.05% retinaldehyde for 6 weeks shows about a 35% to 50% improvement in chronic facial redness.

Is is safe to use while on accutane I have no idea-- be careful though

Re: Red nose

i dont think its rocacea...i mean i see people with red noses quite often, especially around winter time---and my cheeks arent really red or anything, maybe a bit but its no big deal

i think the accutane makes my skin more sensitive, and since i have to walk home from school everyday in the cold and windy canadian winter it causes my face to go red...

i just want to know how to reduce this redness! theres gotta be something that relieves redness
