On another message board I asked if anyone had any suggestions to help me with my cystic acne. I received a response for a girl that said her guy friend had much improvement using Mederma for his cystic acne, he initially bought it for his scars but noticed that his cystic acne started disappearing the more he applied it to his scars, although I was skeptical at first because I've used almost everything under the sun, I decided to try it..I wash with the Rodan and Fields line Calm and than at night apply Mederma after the 3 steps (only at night because your skin begins to flake, but with a loofah sponge the flakes come off easily in the morning), I've been using the Calm line for about two months and just started using the Mederma for about three weeks, my cystic acne has been clearing up at a much faster pace, usually they would be there for a weeks and I've been noticing them gone in days!! I hope this helps, I've been battling this thing called acne for 15 years, so you know I've tried everything!! p.s. I just started the light therapy and will keep you updated on that also.., honestly I was almost hesitant to go to my appointment today because I think the steps I've been taking may be helping, than again everytime I think I've beaten the acne monster he defeats me, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed
