Exfol Cream, Lactic Acid, CP's - Skin Biology

Has anyone given all these a shot before and liked them? Iright now I have gone back to the basics of just cleansing and moisturizing but Im second guessing myself again. I havent broken out or anything from the basics but Im always looking for new things. Any ideas?

Re: Exfol Cream, Lactic Acid, CP's - Skin Biology

I've been using Skin Bio Products for a year and they're the best. I use Super CP Serum (started out with regular CP Serum diluted and worked my way up) , Exfol Serum, Emu Oil and do a 40% lactic acid peel once week. These are the only products I've used that actually do anything other than give your skin a temporary look. If you are prone to acne use the serums not the creams and START SLOW. They are very strong products. You have to be patient with results and you will go through an "ugly" stage as old, damaged cells surface and slough off, but then things will get better and better. Alot of people get discouraged during that stage and quit using the products before the fantastic results are seen. The "ugly" stage is actually proof they're working IMO.

Hope this helps.

Re: Exfol Cream, Lactic Acid, CP's - Skin Biology

These are not acne treatment products. They are anti-aging products. Doing a 40% lactic acid peel once a week can help with some scarring. Or you can use a 10% peel daily. The CP serum is used on the entire face. You also need to use exfol serum, which is an exfoliant but is also good for acne because it's 2% salicyic acid. And you need to follow up with a biological oil. There are a number of products and treatments available and each persons routine will differ depending on the problems they want to treat. Stay away from the creams if you're acne-prone. The serums won't cause breakouts and neither will Emu Oil. But the squalane and squalane with retinol will cause breakouts.
