Has anybody tried this product, does it really work? I've tried pro active which actually had helped my skin quite a lot, but I ran out of it and heard that this product was better because it treated all kinds of acne, not just one.
I tried murad, it did nothing and it was expensive. I did better on simple 2.5 % benzol peroxide gel.
I wouldn't recommend it, but it was my aunt who recommended it to me and she swares by it... to each their own i guess
I got it about five weeks ago (I just received my second shipment). It improved my skin a lot. My chin cleared up completely and I haven't had any breakouts. When I get a stray zit it clears up a lot faster and without any red marks.
I didn't even get an initial breakout when I began using it. Maybe I was just lucky though.
I think it probably just works better for some people than for others. For the price, it wasn't doing anything for my. But like i said, it has worked wonders for my aunt. She also uses an astrogent (sp?) along with the whole kit, and she swares by it
Not only did the Murad NOT work for me, but I had 1000 tiny bumps all over my face because I'm apparently allergic to it. I'm not allergic to anything, so this was weird. A cheaper version of Murad that caused the exact same allergic reaction? The proactiv knock-off called ACNEFREE at Walmart. Try that first. The ingredients are almost identical to murads!
I had the exact same reaction! I got tiny little bumps all over my face. I thought it was an allergic reaction too, but I started putting an 8.5% BP product on my face and it cleared the bumps. I am also on Ampicillin for acne. I had stopped taking it for a month before using Murad. Guess I didn't read the fine print either! I don't like to take antibiotics that long, I'm sure it is not good in the long run. However, I think I would do almost anything to have clear skin.
I'm using Murad and it is such a great product especially if you are sensitive to benzol peroxide. I have very bad acne and it sure is clearing my skin there are noticable improvements.. I think it can do the same for you too. Don't expect the product to work right away because it's not it works slowly but surely. Give it time be patient
