Has any one tried this new L'Oreal product? I think it's called "Refinish"........if so, how did u like it? Once I get my acne cleared up, I think I'd like to try it to help my scars.....
Never tried it on the local news here we have Wrinkle Free Fridays. They had a local dermatologist and plastic surgeon talking about this product. They said that yes you will seea difference but a small one. It is no where near the strength of the ones you get at the Dr's office. They said that almost all kinds of skin would look better right after but if you want to keep that look than weekly routines are nessary.
No it will not get rid of that. I have one from my accident with a weedeater. The best I could do on my own was apply Mederma. It did not take it away it just made the color of the scar lighter. Lazer treatment is what I need to remove it completely
oh ok. i guess there is no way to get rid of the hypertrophic kind other than laser ??? that sux. i have those bad. i hate them. blah!!! ok let us know how this work. once my face stops being red and irritated, im goin to give this a try for my scarring.
Does anyone know if this will cause a break-out? I've finally started to get my acne under control and want to try this product for mild scarring. However, I do not want to break out again because of it.
hi all. i have been using microdermabrasion for about 6 monthes and it has not caused any breakouts. my skin feels so much smoother and softer i am so happy i tried this! i was scared at first because the last thing i wanted was for my skin to go crazy on me. my face is so sensitive to just about everything and this has been a great product for me. it really does get rid of skin discolorations and makes your face heal faster too. i have hormonal acne and i cant begin to tell u how much this stuff has helped me! i use this everyday though, morning and night after i wash my face, and then i mousturize. great product.
Personally, I think this product works better than having microdermabrasion treatment with the machine. I think its because I was able to remove more dead skin myself with the kit than what gets removed in one treatment. My scars have lightened slightly but the biggest difference is how soft and smooth my skin is. I occasionally get a breakout, if a clogged pore is getting close to the surface and I scrub it.
Hi all...
I have tried the dermabrasion product, and it was surprising how smooth it left my skin. My ONLY complaint was the scent-- very perfumey, perhaps to mask the chemicals. If not for that, I would be using this weekly , because it had no adverse reaction whatsoever.
I live in Canada and paid about $30. I just got it a few days ago so I don't know how long it will last. You don't use a lot and only use it 2-3 times per week, so I would imagine that it would last at least 4-5 weeks.
i just tried my first loreal microdermabrasion it feels like it really scrapes a lot of skin off. you can defintley feel it working. i did it two times so its above the recommended. after i followed up with loreal vitamin c cream stuff. it is too soon for it to have made a diffrence in my scars and red marks but i will keep everyone posted with my progrees.. i think i will continue using it for now.
kc same here. i bet it will help with the break outs since it exfoilates. im hoping it will help get mine under control. let me know if u start breaking out.
