Just started taking this pill, i take 2 tablets at bedtime. Is it safe to drink on occasion while on this medication?

Re: Minocycline and drinking

i am doing this now too *five months , finally clearing * but i would recommned if can be helped - do not drink on it! it can cancel out the effect of the pill, like you didnt even take it. also alchool is dehydrating and loaded with sugar which can feed the acne infection. also the other thing is is if you are drinking beer. it has yeast in it, and a side effect of antibiotics can be internal yeast infection - you do not want to feed it with beer. good luck !
