I tried Retin-A a looooong time ago and all I remember was it wasn't helping much and I was irritated and peeling (which they told me I had to go through to clear up (which I don't belive)). I'm on benzaclin now and what it does is dry your skin up so oil doesn't build up and BP kills the bacteria. Even on benzaclin I still broke out because of how drying it was but in the summer it works wonders! From my experience I would prefer benzaclin or DUAC gel and just use a good moisturizer like Nivea soft or something.
