Can moisturizer make pimples worse? I use 10% benzyol peroxide and when my skin gets dry I use this moisturizer that has like all kinds of vitamins like b5 and stuff and it contains sunscreen. This stuff makes my skin kinda burn alittle but then later on feels better can this make me break out more if i put em on my pimples?

As long as its oil-free and non-comedegenic it should be fine. Non-comedegenic means it doesn't clog pores. I noticed more acne from moisturizing all the time. Do to more oil production for some reason. If your face gets so dry its flaky and white, then moisturize, but don't use too much. And don't over due it. Good Luck

I wouldn't put it directly over the pimples until they shrink or dry out a bit. Put it over the non-broken out area.

yeah i agree with waht the other person said. just check to make sure it says oil free or non comegenci. i think sometimes it makes your skin moisturized and your skin is better able to push that **** to the surface and it might seem like you got more zits but over time u get the gunk out. that is just my own personal theory

I doubt it but alot of people believe it could. Just make sure it's not clogging pores and if you see that you break out switch to another moisturizer until you find the one you like.

Moisturizers make my acne worse even if they are non-comodegenic and oil-free. I stopped using commercial facial moisturizers all together. I have done an extensive search on these boards and now I am using Desert Essence jojoba oil-straight. So far so good. Knock on wood...
