My friend gave me a sample to try. In my opinon it's not as good as the Epidermx. With Epidermx, I can see little shavings of dead skin roll off my face. I didn't see anything with the Loreal one, so it's not much better than a regular scrub. But I think it depends on what problems you need to deal with. The Loreal one will still make your skin bright and smooth and fade red marks & tiny little lines. The Epidermx is more effective for getting rid of blackheads, white heads, clogged pores and acne scars. Keep us posted on your results.
o wow!! epidermix does all of that ??? nice!!! i am interested in gettin this now. how much does it cost ? I found one site but they wanted you to pay a memership fee just to join a club. is that standard wit epidermix. you actulaly saw skin shaivngs!! omg how cool. i wanna try that
It's $44.95 for one 2oz jar. I paid $55 total for it and the Silkia camellia oil. Free shipping. I was interested in the membership thing too but I wanted to try it out first. You have to pay an annual fee of $29.95 to get the Epidermx for $30 for one jar or $150 for six jars, plus shipping. It's worth it if you can use up a couple of jars a year or share it with your friends. The jar I'm using now still has 1/3 left after 7 months.
I've been using epidermx for 4 months and it has REALLY helped. I still have half of it left and so much of the silkia camilia oil...it's well worth the price since it lasts so long. I had a microdermabrasion done, but this seemed to work better for me, and I'm so excited because my wedding is coming up and my skin is looking fabulous, I have never had it this nice since I have struggled with acne since I was like 14.
My seller told me the Silkia camellia oil is wonderful for fine lines and acne scar indents. It complements the Epidermx. But if you don't have this sort of problems (lines and indents), you don't need to use it. Just use your regular moisturizer. I really like the way the oil makes my skin feels and looks after the Epidermx.
yeah! i love epidermx too!! i live in england and imported it (the exchange rate is great right now so i got a real bargain there!)my skin hasnt looked or felt this good in ages. the camellia oil is great too, sinks in a treat!
The Silkia camellia oil is very similar in consistency to jojoba oil (I used the Desert Essences brand). But I found the camellia oil a bit smoother, a bit more moisturizing and sinks in faster than jojoba oil. It also gives my face a nice glow. I had used jojoba oil for a couple of months before camellia oil and didn't notice any big results for the lines around my eyes and acne scar indents. But they were much improved after I switched to camellia oil (of course the Epidermx I'm using with the camellia also help with the scars).
I think jojoba oil is suitable for people with very oily skin. I don't have oily skin and it's not moisturizing enough for me. My skin likes camellia oil better.
Just tried the epidermx. I don't know if it's because i didn't put enough in same areas but i couldn't get the crystals to "ball up" everywhere. It worked best on my cheeks, the sink was full of those little balls of dead skin or whatever they are. My face was very red after i rinsed it. I put on the camellia oil, it sank it very fast and 5 minutes later the redness was gone.
My skin is very smooth right now, i can't stop touching it! I had this cyst that was pretty painful too and now it doesn't hurt at all anymore, and it went down in size significantly.
i just tried my loreal refinish... it feels liek it is prtty harsh as in it probably gets a lot of skin off. my face was more pink after. it looks like it shaved off some layers of skin. its only my first time so i do not see improvement in scars yet. will keep you posted tho. i followed it up with some loreal perfecting vitamin c cream i got at the store.
The loreal stuff has just come out in Australia and works out half the cost of shipping epidermx over from the US... but if it's not as good I'll just stick with the epidermx
